अनिरुद्ध प्रताप सिंह
Ani was born in 1990 in Bighapur, Unnao, India to a Yadav Kshatriya family. His father passed away when he was five years old, leaving Ani, his sister, his brother, and his mother, who never remarried. His mother was 28 years old at the time. Ani's mother single-handedly raised the three of them with support from a maternal grandfather and uncle.
"Despite having everything, I lived a life of nothing. When I was 19, I decided to help orphans get an education. I tried very hard, but I lacked resources and money. I ran a milk dairy and farmed. I considered it my life's mission to help orphans, widows, and the elderly. I couldn't alleviate their suffering, but I could give what I had. In 2022, I met two Americans on a Facebook forum, of all places. I shared my thoughts with them. They said, 'Aniruddha, continue on your path. We will support you in your social work.' I formed an NGO called Mercy Way Foundation. Its mission is to educate orphans, help the poor, treat the sick, and support the elderly. We don't believe in big words. We believe in action. Praise be to God."
