At Mercy Way Foundation, we partner with existing schools in North India to:
pay school fees for students who are too poor to attend school, and
provide essential school supplies for students so they can focus on learning, not on what they are missing.
In order to alleviate financial pressures on rural schools to free students up for learning, Mercy Way Foundation has contributed the following:
Backpacks for 298 students
School shoes for 298 students
Tiffins (lunchboxes) for 298 students and 14 staff
Food for 250 students
Stationary for 250 Students
This year, Mercy Way Foundation paid the school fees for sixteen students (ten of whom are pictured here) who would not otherwise have been able to attend school. Many are orphans or have a single parent who works in unskilled labor.
Alongside providing material supplies for students and teachers, Mercy Way Foundation strives to build and maintain amiable and supportive relationships with teachers and staff.
After all, they are the ones who sacrifice for the students every day!
In the future, Mercy Way Foundation desires to open affordable, subsidized schools where low-income students from North India can receive a quality education from teachers who care about their growth and development inside and outside the classroom.
But for now, we are delighted to partner with existing schools in their persevering fight to lead their students onward to a better life.
